Privacy Policy

Cornell School of Irish Dance ("we," "us") operates irishdance.ca. This policy describes
what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Free-class registration: parent/guardian name, email, phone, the
dancer's first name, program of interest, and location preference.
- Enrollment reservations: the dancer's name and date of birth,
parent/guardian names, email, and phone.
- Payments: processed by Stripe.
Card numbers never touch our servers; Stripe shares only your name, email, and payment
status with us.
- Site analytics & advertising: we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and
store ad-campaign tags (UTM parameters) in your browser for up to 7 days, so we know which
of our ads work. This involves cookies and similar technologies from Meta; see
Meta's Privacy Policy.
How we use it
- To run classes: schedules, class lists, and contacting you about your dancer.
- To follow up on your registration with class information by email. Every marketing
email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link (per Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation).
- To measure our own advertising. We do not sell or rent personal information, ever.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make the site work: Stripe (payments), Twilio SendGrid
(email delivery), Meta (ad measurement), and our web host. Each receives only what it needs
to perform its service.
Retention & your rights
We keep enrollment records while your family is part of the school and for a reasonable
period afterward for our records. You may ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the
personal information we hold about you or your child.
Data deletion
To have your information deleted, email
devin@irishdance.ca with the name and email address
you signed up with, and we will delete your records from our systems and confirm within 30
days.
